A key feature of an open-sided shipping container is its ability to open its entire length to reveal the interior of the unit. Instead of a solid wall on the side, they have two folding doors that can be opened individually or together so that the entire side of the container is open.
Open-sided containers still feature traditional cargo doors on one end and offer full side access, creating a unique opportunity for storing goods or transporting cargo. Unlike standard shipping containers, there's no difficulty accessing items at the rear of the unit, giving companies more flexibility with their inventory.
